Visit of U.S. Consulate General Peshawar

President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Junaid Altaf hosted U.S. Consulate General Peshawar, H.E. Mr. Thomas Eckert, and Economic Officer Kathleen Gibilisco at the Chamber. Senior Vice President SCCI Muhammad Nadeem, Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan, and representatives including the President SVP and VP of the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Peshawar were also present.

The meeting focused on strengthening Pak–U.S. bilateral relations, enhancing diplomatic cooperation, promoting mutually beneficial trade, economic collaboration, people-to-people linkages, and broader international economic engagement.

As a gesture of cultural goodwill and friendship, traditional Chitrali caps and shawls from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were presented to H.E. Mr. Thomas Eckert, Ms. Kathleen Gibilisco and to senior officer of U.S. Consulate General Peshawar.
