President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) Mr. Junaid Altaf participated in a meeting with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, held at the Governor House Peshawar. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the CEO Club Pakistan, the Industrial Estate Association Peshawar, and senior members of the media. The discussion focused on preparations for the upcoming CEO Summit Peshawar, scheduled to be held next month at the Governor House. The summit will feature leading CEOs, business leaders, women entrepreneurs, ministers, and diplomats from across Pakistan. The event will also include the launch of the book “100 CEOs and Diplomats of Pakistan” and the presentation of CEO Awards.

“Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference” was held at the Chamber House under the chairmanship of President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Mr. Junaid Altaf, in collaboration with International Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Movement, Peshawar Division. SCCI In Collaboration with Pakistan Horticulture Development & Export Company organized an awareness session on “Strengthening Pakistan’s Horticulture Sector: Support for Global GAP, HACCP & ISO 22000 Certifications” the session was chaired by Senior Vice President SCCI, Muhammad Nadeem. Former Presidents, Executive Committee Members, Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan fruit, vegetable and flowers progressive growers, processors, exporters, academia, KP Government officials and officials from PHDEC also participated in the event.

Vice President of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Mr. Sabir Ahmed Bangash have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) With Islamia College Peshawar [Official] to strengthen collaboration in research, innovation, and academic development.

A Vietnam delegation, including Ms. Le Hong Phuong, Director of Unique Tea,, called on Senior SCCI Muhammad Nadeem. The meeting focused on strengthening business ties, promoting chamber-to-chamber collaboration, and exploring other areas of mutual interest. President Sarhad Chamber, Mr. Junaid Altaf, attended the #SIDB meeting with the Managing Director, where the agenda item regarding the recommendations of the Inquiry Committee at Charsadda Industrial Area was discussed. The meeting was also attended by officials from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company, the Industries Department Official, and former President SCCI.

President SCCI Junaid Altaf, Senior Vice President Muhammad Nadeem, and Vice President Sabir Ahmad Bangash held a meeting with Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry Vice President Aman Paracha regarding issues faced by the tea sector. Former Presidents, former Senior Vice Presidents, Executive Committee members, Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan, and a large number of traders and importers were also present. The meeting called for the withdrawal of MRP on tea imports and emphasized practical steps to strengthen trade, while Aman Paracha stressed the need for a special financial package for the war-affected business community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A delegation of the business community led by President SCCI Junaid Altaf met CEO Peshawar Electric Supply Company Akhtar Hameed Khan to discuss traders’ issues. It was agreed to establish a joint committee between SCCI and PESCO for the swift resolution of traders’ concerns and to set up a special complaint cell at WAPDA House for SCCI members. The delegation included the Senior Vice President Muhammad Nadeem, former Presidents, and office bearers of various traders’ associations.
