President SCCI Junaid Altaf hosted CEO Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Ltd., Mr. Atif Hanif, during his courtesy visit to the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI). The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the banking sector and the business community, improving access to Islamic financial services, and supporting initiatives for economic growth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the visit, President SCCI Junaid Altaf and CEO Atif Hanif also signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening collaboration in business promotion, trade facilitation, Islamic financing solutions, skill development, and Halal industry support. The MoU outlines joint efforts in organizing trade events, capacity-building programs, and providing specialized facilitation and Shariah-compliant financial services for SCCI members.
The meeting was attended by Senior Vice President Muhammad Nadeem, former Presidents, former Senior Vice Presidents, Executive Committee members, Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan, as well as the President and Vice President of the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Peshawar, and officials from Al Baraka Bank.
