President SCCI Junaid Altaf attended the ceremony held in Islamabad under the chair of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi regarding the transfer of shares of Meeran Block. During the briefing, it was shared that 49% of the shares will be held by OGDCL and 51% by KPOGCL.

The initiative is expected to boost oil and gas exploration, attract new investment, and create opportunities for local employment, business development, and industrial growth in the province.
