SCCI President Junaid Altaf Meets PVARA Chairman to Discuss Digital Economy and Virtual Assets

President SCCI Junaid Altaf met with Minister of State for Digital Assets and Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA), Bilal Bin Saqib on the sidelines of the Pakistan Economic Summit 2026, organized by the United Business Group in collaboration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including the digital economy, emerging technologies, virtual assets, improving the ease of doing business, and promoting investment. President Junaid Altaf emphasized the importance of integrating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's business community into the digital economy and enabling businesses to benefit from technological advancements and digital innovation.

Also present on the occasion were Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi, Patron-in-Chief of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) S.M. Tanveer, Senior Vice President SCCI Muhammad Nadeem, President SCCI and General Secretary FPCCI Peshawar Region Haji Muhammad Afzal, Executive Committee Member Ishfaq Ahmed, President of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Usman Shaukat, President of Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with other prominent business leaders and industrialists from across the country.
